Intro PLC class offered in October
Since TMCC has not been able to field a fundamental class in Programmable Logic Controllers, I have agreed to do one through a third-party vendor Oct 31-Nov 2 '06 .

Since there has been a memo sent (to TMCC employrees) forbiding them to speak to me....... I haven't had much input as to what is going on down at Edison... (except for the trashing of various lab equipment that they don't know how to use).
I still have a copy of the inventory (all $60k worth). Hope they are keeping proper records!Wouldn't it be great if local industry put their money into a private non-profit training center.... free from the political BS and run by vocational/technical educators ... that actually knew how to do vocational/technical training?Again..... stay tuned. Industry is finding out TMCC can not provide qualified experienced instructors in many technical fields (a lot of instructors are flat fed-up with the politics and BS with TMCC and will no longer teach for them).
Rumor has it private industry may be ready to fund an alternative.
